What we collect

When you use this site we collect the minimum data needed to run the business:

  • Contact data — the name, email address, and message you send through the contact or quote form.
  • Quote data — anything you submit through our quote request form, including project files (Gerbers, BOMs, schematics, photos).
  • Analytics — anonymized page views and referrer, only after you accept cookies.

How we handle quote files

Files you upload with a quote request are treated as confidential by default:

  • Used only to prepare your quote and to perform the work if you proceed.
  • Stored on Squidtronic-controlled Cloudflare R2 storage and a secure project drive — not on any third-party form service.
  • Never shared with third parties or used for marketing.
  • Retained as part of your job record (for traceability, warranty support, and re-orders). You can request deletion at any time by emailing info@squidtronic.com, and we'll remove them unless we're legally required to keep them.

If you require an NDA before sharing files, check the "Need an NDA?" box on the quote form and we'll send one before you upload anything sensitive.

Cookies

  • Strictly necessary — your cookie consent choice. Always on.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics 4. Only loaded after you click "Accept" on the cookie banner.

You can decline analytics at any time by clicking "Decline" on the banner or by clearing your browser storage.

Third parties

  • Cloudflare — CDN, edge processing, and R2 storage for quote files.
  • Web3Forms — delivers contact and newsletter form submissions to us by email.
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymized traffic analytics (loaded only after you accept cookies).

We do not use a third-party payment processor. Invoices are paid by bank transfer or check directly to us, so no payment card details are ever collected by or passed through this site.

Your rights

Email info@squidtronic.com to:

  • See what we have on you.
  • Correct anything wrong.
  • Delete your enquiry and any quote files you sent us.
  • Receive a copy of what we hold on you.

We respond within 30 days.
