1. Who we are
Squidtronic is operated by Squidtronic LLC, a company based in Austin, Texas, USA. By using this website you agree to these terms.
2. Components purchases
Component orders placed through this site are governed by these terms plus our shipping policy and returns policy.
- Prices are in USD unless otherwise noted.
- Orders may be cancelled by either party until they ship.
- Title passes on delivery; risk of loss passes on shipment.
3. Service work (BGA rework, SMT assembly, hand soldering, IC reballing, prototype build, repair, PCB / schematic design)
- Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
- Service work begins after quote approval and any required deposit clears.
- You confirm you own or have the right to manufacture the designs you submit.
- You are responsible for export-control compliance of the parts and designs you ship to us.
- We are not responsible for design defects in your inputs (Gerbers, BOMs, schematics).
- Workmanship warranty: 90 days on assembly, BGA rework, and reballing. Repair work is covered for 30 days on the specific repaired site only.
- Damaged or end-of-life parts that fail during reuse are not warrantable.
4. Confidentiality
We treat your project files (Gerbers, BOMs, schematics, photos) as confidential by default and delete them per our privacy policy. We are happy to sign a mutual NDA before you share anything sensitive — request one on the quote form.
5. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid for the specific order or service the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, lost data, or downtime.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Disputes are resolved in Travis County courts.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
